This is Asia Afrika Boulevard. The building are kept for the originalities, designed by holland architecture. Now, the government is putting the lights, benches, and some unique decorations.
This is Gedung Merdeka. Gedung Merdeka was used for the first Asian African Conference in 1955. And now, Gedeng Merdeka is still used for the conference.
Asian African Conference will be attended by 109 countries from Asian and African Continents. The participant countries' flags has been set in front of Gedung Merdeka. Along the Asia Afrika Boulevard, you will find some of stone balls which listed the names of participant countries, and highlighted by LED light frow below. Quite pretty!
On the side of Gedung Merdeka, there is a place where the founding fathers' histories are told in some big boxes. The designs are retro-made, quite fancy. There are some benches on the riverbank so you can sit or relax there.
This is Savoy Homann Bidakara Hotel. This hotel was built in 1939, with the art deco style. This is categorised as one of the heritages building on Bandung. The conference participants were usually stayed in this hotel.
Straight ahead from Gedung Merdeka, you will find world globe statue, which listed the conference paricipant. The globe is highlighted by rainbow-colored light and the fountain below. This is the city plaza area.
This is central mosque in Bandung. The building is huge and has 2 towers on it. This mosque is surrounded by synthetic-grass field, so you must take off your shoes to stomp on it.
